All deliveries and collections have currently been suspended by the leasing companies and dealerships. If you have arranged a delivery or collection we will be in touch to advise of the cancellation. When we are advised that leasing companies and dealerships are recommencing deliveries and collections, we will contact you to rearrange.

During the current crisis many of you have been instructed to change the way you work and reduce all unnecessary business travel. During this time increases in your deductions or sacrifice due to a reduction in business travel will be suspended. We will continue to review your business and private mileage but work on the principle that employees, who undertake official business travel, should not be penalised if their business mileage is reduced.

If you are no longer travelling business mileage then the cost of your car will remain unchanged, However, the fuel allowance you get paid will be adjusted accordingly. As you are no longer purchasing the fuel for the journeys you will not be penalised.

You will only receive reimbursement of fuel costs for any business mileage travelled and claimed in the normal way, if your business mileage reduces you will be reducing the amount of fuel used and therefore you will not be disadvantaged by not claiming fuel reimbursement.

A cancellation fee may apply if you are outside the 5 day cancellation period, however, we will discuss this with you individually.

We will automatically extend all contracts affected during this period. We would still encourage you to choose and order your new vehicle so that we can be at the front of the queue when manufacturer production restarts.

Please call us on 01206 255425 if you need us to a look at a payment break. All payments are taken and retained by your employer so we will need to refer to them but we will do this on your behalf.

The government have announced that MOTs due on or after 30th March 2020 will be extended by 6 months, we expect the DVLA database to be updated shortly and we will then update our records accordingly. You must ensure your vehicle is still safe to drive, guidance can be found here https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-mots-for-cars-vans-and-motorcycles-due-from-30-march-2020. If your MOT is due before 30th March 2020 then it must be completed as normal, if you are currently self-isolating then your vehicle must be taken for an MOT when you no longer need to self isolate. You should not drive the vehicle anywhere other than the MOT test centre if it no longer has a valid MOT.
